Reading my words to people, being able to emote as my words were intended during their birth, was a beautiful experience. I loved the freedom to truly connect with my audience, and be vulnerable in the telling of my truth.
I am surprised at how much fun my first 5k was!

I wondered what it would be like to see my name on a book cover, and how I would feel when my words, my heart-blood, were read by pairs of eyes other than my own.
I feel like a twelve-year-old girl deciding which classmates to invite to a birthday sleepover.
What I came to realize is that names are irrelevant. Identifying my friends and family members would detract from my story, and it is my story.
