It’s not enough to receive a great review. I need to know that the reviewing source carries weight in the world of all things author life.

While I had no clue where I would be twenty-five years from the day I voiced my intention, I certainly arrived at a destination to make that dream a possible reality.
Stepping away from myself and book business this week was the perfect antidote to reconnect with my community, and the power I wield as a human being with a heart for service.
Reading my words to people, being able to emote as my words were intended during their birth, was a beautiful experience. I loved the freedom to truly connect with my audience, and be vulnerable in the telling of my truth.
I am a creative with a day job, and work on self-promotion a little at a time, depending on when I get a few free minutes to enter “the zone.”
I hate knowing that people I love (and I do love each and every reader) have been touched by the ugliness as I have. Every text, private message, or public post has pierced my heart in that knowing.
